Who are Kellson Guitars?
Kellson Guitars is an independent guitar company dedicated to creating high-quality, unique instruments for players who want something different. Each guitar is carefully built and set up with attention to detail, playability and performance.
Where are Kellson Guitars made?
Our guitars are built in the UK, with each instrument receiving individual attention throughout the process.
Can I request specific specifications or modifications?
Depending on the guitar and what you are looking for, we may be able to accommodate custom specifications or modifications. Contact us before ordering and we'll be happy to discuss what is possible.
When will I get my order?
We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible, usual dispatch time is 1-3 days. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. Preorders usually take 2-3 weeks to arrive.
Where are your products manufactured?
Our products are manufactured in rural Suffolk where we have a custom made workshop. this workshop is the true heart of our guitars where each product is meticulously tested and constructed.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated based on your location and the items in your order. You will always know the shipping price before you purchase. For domestic shipping within the UK, shipping is usually free; however, customers further afield will have to pay a small fee. Currently, our main store only ships within the UK; if you are outside this region and would like to make a purchase, please send us an email, and we will discuss shipping and costs!
How do I use the Custom Shop?
Our custom shop is currently under development; however, we are more than happy to tailor-make guitars to your specifications. Simply email us, and we will work closely with you to give you a bespoke handcrafted instrument that you truly connect with.
What is your returns policy?
We have a returns policy that we believe is fair to both us and our customers we want our customers to feel safe in the knowledge that we will accommodate them please view our refund policy at the footer of the page.
How do our guitars compare to bigger brands?
Kellson Guitars are designed specifically with the player in mind, whether it be an upgrade from a first guitar; we are the best you can get. We focus on playability and individual designs rather than mass production, giving you the feel you deserve. While larger brands produce at scale, we focus on delivering a more refined, player-focused experience at a low price point. Unlike many corporations, we don't simply aim to earn revenue; we want to share our love of music and prove that a good guitar doesn't have to be expensive.
Who are these guitars best suited for?
We aim to provide instruments that feel solid, reliable, and inspiring to play. Our guitars are both amazing upgrades for professional players and a solid foundation for any beginner player.
Are the guitars set up before shipping?
Yes, each guitar goes through rigorous testing and quality control; each one is intonated, tuned, and has the truss rod aligned, as well as fret levelling and deburring, and undergoes a saddle adjustment to be comfortable for YOU. Our process has been refined to a tee to find a string height that matches the majority of players' correct feel. Whilst temperature changes during shipping can affect tuning and truss rod adjustment, we do our best to ensure it is correct before each guitar is sent. How does your quality control work?
Our guitars are heavily tested by real players! electrical connections are always tested with a multimeter after construction and we use high quality components to ensure no issues within the parts. tuning stability is also tested both with a computer DAW system and by ear this is the same system we also use to intonate and tune our guitars! the paint finish is also thoroughly inspected for blemishes or scratches as we put the quality of our guitars on an extremely high pedestal, we see this as essential as we want our guitars to feel good look good and last a lifetime.
What type of guitars do you make?
We currently specialise in electric guitars, including our S-type and Super-Strat inspired designs. Our instruments are designed with modern players in mind while retaining the familiar feel and versatility guitarists expect.
